SAI provides complete support from our technical staff of test pilots, project managers, engineers and technicians throughout the program. This support includes technical interface meetings, participation in safety and test planning reviews and providing aircraft technical and systems information as required.

A comprehensive systems design is completed to interface the customer's system with the project airplane and it's systems. Additional system enhancements such as additional electrical or cooling requirements, are designed and fabricated as needed. A modification package is prepared including engineering analyses, design, and aircraft modification drawings.

Fabrication of supporting hardware and/or software is accomplished either in SAI's facilities or by one of SAI's numerous local subcontractors under SAI supervision. The equipment is then installed into the test aircraft. Finally, ground testing, airworthiness, and functional check flights are accomplished prior to the actual test missions or deployment. All modifications are FAA and/or government approved.
