SAI's most valuable resources are the technical and administrative employees who work here. SAI has an enviable reputation for its ability to attract and retain highly qualified, experienced, multi-talented people. The staff includes FAA-certified pilots, engineers, mechanics and avionics technicians. The educational and relevant backgrounds of SAI's key people include US. Air Force Test Pilot School and Flight Test Engineering School graduates, retired USAF test and evaluation engineers, program managers, and engineers and technicians covering every needed technical area (aero, mechanical electrical, structural, etc.). Mr Robert L. (Bob) Keller, a 1970 graduate of the United States Air Force Aerospace Research Experimental Test Pilot School, is Corporation's President. Mr Keller retired from the United States Air Force in April 1980 as the Commander of the Flight Test Division at Eglin Air Force Base. During his military career, Mr Keller completed over 200 combat missions in F-lO5's and F-4's. In addition to actively managing SAI's daily operations, Mr Keller is the chief test pilot and check airman. His flight experience includes the T-39, F-15, F-16, F-100, F-105, F-4, C-135 and all types of general aviation aircraft from Piper and Cessna Trainers to turboprop Beechcraft King Airs. Mr Keller holds a single and multi-engine commercial and instrument rating and a type rating in the North American Saberliner and the Boeing 707. Mr Keller's advanced engineering background, his over 10,000 flight hours in numerous different types of commercial and military aircraft, and his extensive test and evaluation experience uniquely qualify him to lead the SAI Corporation into the 21st century.
